Async or Defer JS doesn't work in auto minify mode ?

    Hello everybody !

    I’m in “auto” minify mode / Disk and the JSMin minifier.
    I’ve activated JS minify (and not combine only) with non-blocking using async embed type.
    But, I can’t see “async” tag in the script markup.

    This is the same thing for the “defer” method.
    Is Total Cache compatible with asyn or defer in auto minify mode ?

    Same here, it doesn’t add the tags.

    I don’t think this is a bug per say. It might be but there is the issue with having it run like that. You can’t have all of your JavaScript loading from Async/Defer in auto minify and expect it to work.

    Auto Minify in my opinion is JS/CSS/HTML compression.

    If you wanted the Async/Defer tags you should use the manual mode to test and make sure that everything is still working properly. @rsmith4321 please open your own topic for future reference.
