Astra ticked all my boxes …

Having taken over managing an existing website, I was looking for a theme that allowed me to customise it to look like a previous bespoke theme (which had been designed for the website by someone else several years ago, but then hadn’t kept pace with subsequent web development or security needs, wasn’t responsive, wasn’t Gutenberg-friendly, etc). I tried several, and Astra was the one that ticked all the boxes.
