Astra theme not showing on posts page

  • I am new to wordpress and am practicing on a localhost installation. I have used the Astra theme and the Elementor page builder to build a website. I want all posts to show on a specific page on the website that I have called “Latest News”. However, when I specify the Latest News page as the posts page on the wordpress dashboard, the Astra theme disappears from the page. When I deselect the page as the posts page, the Astra theme returns but no posts are shown. I have tried using a custom header including a featured image to replicate the astra theme layout but it does not get shown on the page. I also tried disabling the transparent header on the page in case this was causing the issue but it had no impact. At a bit of a dead end at the moment so any help would be greatly appreciated.     What did you mean by Astra theme disappears? Could you please elaborate a bit more?

    Or if you can even create a video and share it with us, it would be better.
