• Hello,
I am using Astra theme with Elementor. When adding sub items to the menu I realized there is a problem as the menu does not shows them properly. You can see a white rectangle and the text of the sub items can only be seen the moment you hover over the exact position of where they are supposed to show up.
It doesn’t work properly for all devices.

Thank you for your suggestions on how to solve this problem.

(I am not an experienced user, only started in January, so thank you for your patience in case it is just a simple step I am missing somewhere).

  • Hello @hebaj / @fsalloum / @badmuggle and others

Sorry for any inconvenience for the recent issue.

We have checked the issue in further detail and it should be fixed in our today’s update releasing very soon.

@brainstormteam update successful, problem fixed thank you ??

    @brainstormteam thank you very much!

@brainstormteam am I missing a step somewhere? I have Astra 3.1.2, updated this morning, and I still have the white submenu background on full computers – mobile and tablet have transparent submenu backgrounds as expected.

On full PC’s the “Transparent Menu | Submenu Color | Background” control is acting more like an overlay for a white background instead of changing the actual background. Any thoughts on this?

    Hello @coreyc123

    Sorry for that!

Maybe, we can quickly help you with a development version that might help fix this issue. Do mention this topic in the ticket.

Looking forward to hearing from you. ??

    Regards,
    Suman

    Hello @brainstormteam
Ticket has been submitted as requested with screenshots and a link to this forum topic. For the near term, I was able to roll back to v3.0.3 and everything is working fine for me, but I’m happy to temporarily install a development version to help with testing if needed.

    Thanks,
    Corey

    Hello

I have created my MAIN MENU with subcategories. From the home page when I hover over the MAIN MENU item the subcategories do not show up. However, when I click on the main menu and go to that page I then can see my subcategories.

For instance, when I hover over HOME on the main page my sub-category won’t show up but once I go to another page such as travel, whaaa laaa then you can see the sub-categories.

I am stumped. I have tried clearing the browsing history and cache, I have also gone in a reinstalled the subcategories. I”m still back at square one.

    Here is my site: https://winedownwithpourchoices.com/

Same Problem here Myoclub.ca. Anyone can help ?

hell I am facing also this issue my submenu not working in the elementor & I am using Astra theme the issue is happening due to update the plugin

    my website is https://busylifehealthywife.com/

    please help me

I found the issue to my problem! Here is what solved it!

Hit the Customize button at the top > Header> Transparent Header > Submenu Color

The issue with mine was, the background color in the submenu was transparent.

    I hope this helps.

Good to know that @adc01684. Thanks for the update!

@islam36655, when you have the Transparent Header active, you need to configure the menu/submenu from the Transparent Header section on the Customizer. Thanks for sharing @tjmeyer!

This is the doc related to the Transparent Header you might want to check as a reference.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

I’m using Mismo Theme and the submenu when hovering over the link is showing to the right on a vertical menu. I need help.

    Hi @clancel,

You need to open the topic on the theme’s respective forum. This forum is intended to help the Astra theme’s users.

Or do I misunderstood your query?

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
