Astra Overriding or Messing up?

Tutor LMS requires a shortcode for a front end dashboard. Most things are fine except there is a link (become a teacher) that appears if you are not an instructor and when you are there is another link in its place (create a course). My background is white and my text is set to black in Astra and my links are set to a red (a00000). The links I have mentioned are somehow being changed to white. They are normally black according to Tutor LMS. I am not a programmer. How can I fix this? Tutor LMS has no other way to reach the pages they are linking to.

When I highlight the content on the page using ctrl/a I can see the link in the upper right.Also the “publish course” button at the top of this page: https://www.uosuniversity.com/dashboard/create-course/ is not visible until you hover over it.
And the save preview exit menu items disappear when you hover over them, so they must be white text. I have messed with the Astra customize colors.
I forgot to mention that I also used the Outdoor Adventure starter template.
