Astra, LifterLMS and WordPress
-
I’m an admin on a system using WP, LifterLMS, and Astra Pro. The last several updates of Astra have been problematic. There has been a constant problem with the CSS, and with the new WP 6.7 update, when I go to Customize, the theme settings are so spread out vertically that I didn’t think anything but the Global Settings were loading. I finally scrolled down a couple of INCHES and found the next setting. Thankfully, I was on a test server and restored a backup which does NOT make me happy.
What is going on? I’ve talked to Lifter and they’ve contacted you. Told me I’d be hearing from you (they put in a ticket…again). I still haven’t heard from you the first time. I’m running 11 servers all with the same plugins. Astra is causing a major headache on a daily basis.
Your last update came through yesterday right before the WP update came in. We are thoroughly updated. One of my guys does that everyday twice a day. I thought this time, well, I’ll try it since you don’t tell us what version of WP it works on. I can’t find that information anywhere. Do you test when new versions of WP come out? You list Lifter as one of the LMSs you work with on the Dashboard page in the system. However, Lifter says you’re not keeping up.
Please let me know what you plan to do about this. I’ve been working in WordPress for 12 years and so has my colleague. We do have a clue what we’re doing. We’ve been using Astra for 3 years and up til the last few updates had no problems.
Thanks in advance for any information you can provide and a plan to fix this.
