  • You beat me to the punch! The colors show up in Elementor but not in Astra for me.

Exact. But it is not related with Elementor at all, as it will not appear also in clean Astra install (before was fine).

It works with Genesis and OceanWP.

Yes, I can confirm this. I needed to change the way the palette gets passed to WordPress’ colour picker called iris, since Astra is using it. Funny thing: I didn’t knew that Astra offers a way to pass or overwrite a palette and my plugin never made use of it. Later I’ll have another go at it and I think I’ll get it to work again.

Ok, got it to work. As usual, please have a look at version 1.14.6 and let me know if it does so for you as well.

It’s working fine in Astra now with version 1.14.6. However still not working in GeneratePress.

Yes, that’s true, currently it doesn’t work with GeneratePress but this topic is about Astra and there’s already another topic for GeneratePress, so please, all concerning issues should go in there.

I can confirm 1.4.6 works again with Astra. Thanks! Can you release this update to the plugin repo? (You can install manually but only if you delete the existing version first as it returns a “Destination folder already exists.” error.)

    Hi,
It was the first I used the plugin (with Astra theme). Version 1.4.5 was not working but 1.4.6 seems to be OK. I can see the difference it makes in the customizer.
Yes, it would be a good idea to put the new version in the plugin repo.
But, about the “destination folder already exists”, for you info., there is a plugin to solve this kind of little problem : “Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades” – Upgrade themes and plugins using a zip file without having to remove them first. But, surely, we can delete the old plugin and put the new version, but I find this “Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades” useful.
And THANK YOU for this “Central Color Palette” plugin that will be very useful. An excellent idea (tool).
