Associating Pages with Categories

  • Hi guys!

    Okay so I am trying to create several different blog pages all with different templates (included in my theme) and then be able to assign certain posts to certain pages. Now I understand that usually people would do this using categories but if I use categories I cannot set a specific template because the page for a category is automatically generated. How do I associate a certain page with a category so I can edit the page and still assign posts to it?

  • Posts can be categorized as desired using categories. Pages are not. Typically, in the design scope, one has several Pages (added to their Custom Menu), and in that menu add in the cat.’s for site navigation if they are important to separate from the main blog.
