Associating Adsense to Site Kit loops but never connects

    When I attempt to set up the AdSense module, it goes into this loop where it finds the AdSense account, then displays this:

    “Looks like you’re already using AdSense
    Site Kit will place AdSense code on your site to connect your site to AdSense and help you get the most out of ads. This means Google will automatically place ads for you in all the best places.”

    When I click continue, it opens a new window, goes back into Connecting Service, then the above text is shown again. And this loop never ends. What am I doing wrong?

    @btrinh Thanks for reporting. Hopefully we can find a fix for this, I am able to replicate the same issue from my side and I have opened a GitHub issue to address this:

    Can you let me know the following which may also prove useful:
    – Are you an existing AdSense user?
    – Do you have any other ads plugins on your site?
    – Can you share your site URL?

    I am an existing AdSense user, the code is used on the exact same domain as the one it was approved for. I do not have other ad plugins on the site. And my site URL is blinkcomag.com.

    @btrinh Thanks for the update, we are working hard on a resolution at the moment, which hopefully won’t be long. As a workaround in the meantime you can implement Auto ads via a manual implementation, and I will keep you updated once we have any updates.

    @btrinh I can see ads on your site now, Auto ads placed via Site Kit. If you were not previously an AdSense user or if you you didn’t have that website setup and approved from within AdSense it may have taken time for ads to appear. If you are still encountering the same issue let me know.
