    Hi,

    Short question:
    – I use the global database table
    – Associated a role to a wordpress user group on site 1 (e.g “free” to “subscriber and “premium” to “editor”)
    – A user buys the premium membership on site 2 (where this connection is different like: “free” to “subscriber, but “premium” to “contributor”)

Does the user now has “editor” role on the site 1?
    So is that also synced?

    Hope you understood ??

    Thank you

    Hi there @zoker,

Thanks so much for your patience here! We’ll be more than happy to assist and to help clarify, Membership itself uses a global database table when you’ve set the respective global constant (which I believe you’ve already done).

However, that doesn’t actually affect user roles, it’s specifically just for Membership data such as Access Levels.

Since Multisite utilize different user roles per site, it would require custom work to have the user roles also work on a global basis.

The user role features should at least work on the main site in such a case. Could I ask that’s what you’re seeing?

Looking forward to getting this sorted with you! ??

    Cheers, David
