associate CPT with default WordPress categories

    I’m using ‘Geodirectory’, which has a CPT ‘places’. I’m trying to associate ‘places’ with the default WordPress categories. However, there is no ‘Connections’ tab when I’m trying to edit ‘places’, only the tabs: ‘fields’, ‘Autotemplate options’ and ‘REST Api’. What am I doing wrong…?
