assistance with wordpress for a self hosted website on qnap

  • Dear All,

    I am currently running wordpress 4.7.2 on qnap and am having some issues with the site.

    when I connect to the site from inside the network the themes / pages all work without any problems,

    however, when I try to connect to the site from outside the network, it doesn’t seem to be able to pull the theme information etc and the images do not load up.

    Can someone please assist me getting this sorted out.

    I am newbie to this so any assistance will be most appreciated.

    how are you accessing the website? are you able to access other files from outside of the network. You may want to check firewall settings to make sure it isn’t blocking port 80 or 8080 (your web server) If you can provide additional information maybe i can help you. I do not have any experience running WordPress on QNap, but I will be happy to try to help.
