Assistance With Error Message

I recently installed a theme which I had purchased through a designer on Elance. When I ran the theme I got the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: the_title_attribute() in /homepages/1/d175796075/htdocs/dojomind/wordpress/wp-content/themes/FItWisdom Blog/index.php on line 7

This is line 7 from the index.php file:

If I click through this error it appears as if all other posts appear normally, but this error appears anytime the main url is entered.

I won’t be able to reach the designer for a few days, and any insight would be greatly appreciated.
