    Hello WordForce Team,

I trust this email finds you well. I recently installed your plugin based on a recommendation from the Hostinger team for enhanced security. I opted for the free license as I currently cannot afford the paid version, being based in Pakistan.

However, since installing your plugin, I have been receiving an overwhelming number of emails regarding login attempts. These notifications are coming from various countries and have become quite bothersome. I have attached images for your reference via email.

Could you please guide me on how to stop these notifications and only receive legitimate emails?

The plugin has been installed on the moeezahmed.com and creativeart.pk WordPress websites using my email address.

I appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this matter.

Hi @creativeartofficial, thank you for reaching out.

Wordfence sends email alerts on certain events if you have enabled the alerts in this section, Wordfence> All Options> Wordfence Global Options> Email Alert Prefereneces. You will see a series of checkboxes titled “Email me when…”. and “Alert me when…“. From this section, you can choose what settings fit best for you. Keep in mind that deactivating most of these notifications may lower your ability to quickly react to an attack or vulnerability. Don’t forget to press the SAVE button when done.

Using the option “Maximum email alerts to send per hour” allows you to limit the number of email alerts received per hour. You can also disable alerts if you are experiencing a brute force attack and the email alerts you are receiving are becoming overwhelming.

Let me know if this doesn’t solve your issue.

    Thanks,

    Mark.
