• I have 4 pages where I want products listed. Yet when I list the products, they automatically go to just 1 page. How exactly do I do direct each product to a different page?

Also, a photoshop image won’t load, I’ve tried it twice.
Wordpress will receive a photoshop image, won’t it?
Looking forward to reading a response, I’m stuck till then.
    Thanks for your help,
    Ellie

  • You mentioned products, are you using a 3rd party extension like WP-ecommerce or are you just talking about having separate pages with info?
When you say “a photoshop image” do you mean that you’re trying to insert a .psd file? .psd is a composite, not a rendered image. You would have to save the image in photoshop as something browser can render (jpg, gif, png, etc) for it to work.

Okay, I’ll save the image as a jpg, thanks on that one.

I am using the plug in WP-ecommerce
Also, is there a forum for that?

Yes, the wp-ecommerce forum is located here:

But, to answer your question, you could make a group for each product and then, on the edit page for each group, you should see “Display category shortcode” which will look something like this:
    [wpsc_products category_url_name=’salsa’]
Except with your category’s name. Copy and paste that whole thing (including brackets) into the HTML of a new page and now that page will only show that group of products.

Thank you so much super6. I appreciate it. Before your answer, I didn’t know to put the display category shortcode in the page’s html and I was stuck. I wondered about it but didn’t know how to hook them together.

Here’s my page: https://www.getskinrelief.com/?page_id=96 Could you please tell me what P & P means. Price: $10.95 P&P: $0.00 On this page:

Also, is there a way to get rid of the “edit” which is on the top of the page twice.

Lastly, through the text there are strange symbols. Another symbol kept popping up on the home page also.

Thanks again, looking forward to reading your response.
