It seems that many users have similar questions, but not my specific issue… I have scoped through the forums but could not find my exact problem. Perhaps it’s much simpler than I think it is.

Anyways, I have created several pages on the site and would like to be able to create new posts, assign categories to the posts, and have the corresponding pages display posts matching the category name. So, if I create a new post with the Category name ‘Video’, I want that post to be automatically displayed in the ‘Video’ page. I don’t want to list the posts(I’ve tried catlist shortcode); I want the entire post.

The site I’m working on is Rapus.com

Thanks for your help! I hope this is easier than I’m making it.

  • This is done by creating a custom menu and adding the cateory items or using a theme that supports a category menu (without coding)

Excellent. Thanks. I was able to create custom menus that included the categories, however my template apparently only supports a single custom menu. Thus, you are only able to select one of the custom menu items you have created(to actually make it visible). So when this selected to override the Pages being displayed as navigation menu items, you can only see a single menu item as a visible navigation button. Can this be increased or am I doing something wrong?

Nevermind, I was thinking of the Menus incorrectly. I have created a single menu item with multiple categories, and they each display as new navigation items. I have figured it out. Thanks.
