Assigning post's to categories to pages!!??

Ok here is the question… I see everyone has been struggeling with how do you assign post’s to different pages… I have set up different categories so each time i write a post i want to assign that post to a certain categorie and then that post should go to my home page and to the other page that i assigned it on? I have https://www.woelag.co.za and had no problems with it whatsoever…I created cattegories and when I write a post and assign it to a categorie it will automatically take that post and put it on the home page and the page that I categorized it to…

Now I created another blog call https://www.dailyinfo.co.za and did exactly the same as woelag.co.za but the problem is if I assign a post to a categorie it does not take that post to other pages??? All my post’s is on the home page now but when I go to the other pages..there’s nothing!
