    Hello,

I’m not able to assign a different role when submitting the form. New users are always set as Guest, and not Seller when using this shortcode: [wppb-register role=”seller”]

Am I loosing something? or how can I assign a different role?

    Thanks

    Hi @manniak,

Please make sure that inside the role=” ” attribute you’ve added the User Role slug associated with the role you want to use. To check this please go to your Dashboard -> Profile Builder -> Settings -> General Settings -> and enable “Roles Editor” Activated

Now go to your Dashboard -> Profile Builder -> Roles Editor -> search for that role and in the Role Slug column copy the Use Role slug that is associated with that role.

Finally paste that User role slug inside the role=” ” attribute,?for example?[wppb-register role=”editor”]

    hi,

the role is correct. I have enabled the ‘roles ‘editor’ and checked the slug. in ‘role name’ it appears ‘Vendor’ and the slug is ‘seller’, as my testing: [wppb-register role=”seller”] but it’s not working

    what could be wrong?

    thanks

    Hi @manniak,

    1. Could you please provide the URL of the form where you encounter this issue?
    ?
    2. Could you please go to the Dashboard -> Pages -> click on the page where you have added this shortcode -> and please send a screenshot from there it where can be seen how the shortcode was added to the page?
    ?
    3. Could you please go to the Dashboard -> Profile Builder -> Roles Editor -> and send a screenshot in which can be seen both the name and the User Role Slug for that user role?

You can use a site like https://snipboard.io/ to share the screenshots.

    Best regards,
