Assigned page template not displaying!

  • Hi, I have created a theme for a website, which was working ok until I added some content to my contact page in the back-end, then for some reason the contact page took on a whole other look, like the theme had changed, the first thing I did was to check whether the theme had indeed changed, it was still the same, but I chose the contact page theme and clicked update just to make sure, but low and behold, the page still remained the same, I even went as far as to delete certain pieces of the theme to try and see if it would have a effect on the page, but NOTHING happened, it just stayed the same, and I have double and triple checked the theme of the page, but it is the exact same theme I was using before!

    This is not the first time I have run into this problem, it seems to be happening a lot lately for some reason, like my pages are using some other theme even though there is NO reason for them to do so!

    I really really need to sort this out ASAP, ANY help would be appreciated, thank you so much!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Yes I have tried those solutions, neither worked!
