    I’ve made a new user with Admin privileges but such privileges don’t allow the user to see Woocommerce categories when editing a menu.

    I looked this up on the Woocommerce “help” pages but typically the so-called “help” pages tell you everything you want to know except how to extend those privileges to the new users.

    So what do I do, give the new user my username and password or wait several hours until I get an answer here?

    I know this is of no interest to anyone but it’s pointy-headed stupidity like this that is the main reason I’m quitting the field of web design forever. For ever hour I work on the design of a site I spend 10 hours going through useless help files.

    Hi there ??

    In order to enable the WooCommerce Categories when adding/editing menus on a new admin account please go to Appearance > Menus and expand the “Screen Options” section at the top right of the page. Enable “Product categories” and “Product tags”.Please check the screenshot below:
