assign role in registration form does not work!

    hello I try to create a registration form that assigns me a specific role but it does not work

    the code is ok:

    [wppb-register role = ”desired_role”] ?

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    No, that is not a functionality that comes with our shortcodes.

    Using our registration form, the users will receive the default WP role – “Subscriber”. In order to change it, you’ll need to go to the WP settings.(Setting –> General –> New user default role)
