Lets say I’m a post author and the post is in draft and I dont want to change it’s status. I want to specify that an editor can start looking at the content to help with the structure.

One option is to add a new status, but that is not ideal because typically a new status means that the post has been developed a bit and in this case it hasn’t progressed from draft stage, it’s just that I want to bring an editor into the process.

Any suggestions on how to address?
I do NOT need to specify an specific user. I just want a tick box that specifies that any editor may help with the content.

Ideally it should email all editors when I tick that checkbox.

I could do this with metadata, but I dont see a way to make this fire an email?
I could leave an editorial comment but then that comment would got lost in other editorial comments. I’d rather have checkbox..

    Hi @ybalkind

You have good ideas and there are all valid options. It just depends on which works best for your needs.

In future update to the Pro version, we do plan to allow metadata to trigger notifications.
