Assign events (time & date) to posts

  • Hello, I have a plugin “Event Calendar 3 for PHP 5.3”, which however is not supported and has been deleted.

    I need a plugin, which would let me add events to simple, ordinary posts, not use a special new category, which appears next to Posts, Pages in the left-side WordPress menu. As far as I can see, all plugins add such a new category Events, while I want to add time and date to ordinary, simple posts. That was possible with the old plugin.

    Can you please, if you know, recommend me a plugin, which would be able to replace the one I use currently? Thanks a lot in advance!
