Hi, the plug-in is installed. Also the keyring plug-in.
Problem: The template does not show up in the list of templates. How to assign the eventbrite events page template?

Assign the Eventbrite Events page template to a page. This will be the page that shows your Eventbrite events.

I am running “the 7” theme.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

When the Eventbrite API plugin is activated, the Eventbrite Events dropdown should be displayed. If your plugin is activated, and that dropdown option is not available, it’s possibly a conflict with an existing plugin or the theme.

Can you see if you have the same problem with a default theme selected, and with other plugins deactivated?

Hi, meanwhile I made a bit progress:
    – Now the Template “Eventbrite Events” is visible in the drop-down of page attributes.

But even when I select it, it does not show anything on the page. What do I need to do?
Are there elements which I can select and place on the page? Or should there be a prepopulated set of objects on the page, once I have selected the Eventbrite template?

    PS:
A bit of feedback: It would be easier to navigate the installation process if you mention that the keyring plug-in needs to be set up correctly, the connection set up, and especially which value of the API keys goes where. I had to try different settings until it worked. Could be made easier.

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for the feedback; did you see the detailed instructions? I think you’re right, we should make those more prevalent on the plugin installation tab.

If your account has live, public events, and you’re connected in Keyring, the page with that template assigned will automatically be populated with those events.

The plugin caches results for 24hrs, for performance; if the first time you loaded the page, there was an issue, you might have empty results cached. The easiest way to force the plugin to do a fresh check is to just disconnect in Keyring and reconnect. This will purge the cache and do a fresh check.

If you still don’t get an events, can you post for me a link to the Eventbrite Events page, and a link to a live event on Eventbrite, so I can check a couple of things.
