    Is there a way to make default settings apply to blocks that are already laid out on a page?

    Hey @rclstudio,

    Unfortunately, no. But that’s a good idea and we can look into making it possible in future. It’s just right now Block Editor is exploring Global Defaults of its own and we don’t want to make something and then have a better alternative being presented by Core to make things confusing for the users.

    Fair enough. The grid implementation in 5.5 is all over the place just now. Better to wait and see how it settles down.
