Assign a group using code/coupe while registering

    Hello team!,

    I was wondering is this plugin allows to assing an specific group depending if you fill an special field with a code/coupon.

    For example:

    1- One user registers without providing any code. Then it goes to Bronze Group.

    2- Another user registers providing an specific code, then it goes to Silver Group.

    3- Last user registers providing an specific gold code, then it goes to Gold Group.

    I want to sort a my customers like this and I was wondering if this plugin fits.

    Hi!

    Good question and idea for a feature, we actually have considered adding something like this for one of the premium extensions for WooCommerce, but I can’t give you an ETA for it at this point.

    So right now, the only way to make this happen would be to code it. If that’s something you’d like to do, assuming you would use WooCommerce, you would hook into the order process, check the coupons that are used in the order and assign the related user account to the corresponding groups.
