Asset Clean up interfering with site kit?

    Hello, I recently installed asset clean up and after activating it google site kit stopped recording data. I now get this error message when I try to check site kit for a given page:

    An error occurred while running 'mapSelect': Cannot read properties of null (reading 'isGatheringData')
The error may be correlated with this previous error:

    Hi there @aliciad7,

    Thanks for reaching out. Based on your stack trace and details you kindly provided this looks like it’s occurring with the Site Kit admin toolbar, and likely as result of a minification setting applied with your WP Asset Cleanup configurations.

    In order to ensure Site Kit files are not minified can you apply the below exclusion?
    /wp-content/plugins/google-site-kit/

    I’ve added a screenshot below showing you where to enter this exclusion.

    You’ll find some documentation on the WP Asset Cleanup website on how to apply exclusions. When using optimisation plugins features such as minification can impact aspects of your front end, including any admin toolbar feature such as the Site Kit tab.
