• I am using the aspiremagazine theme on my blog at https://fierth.com/a

    Two questions

I want to use widgets and remove all content that is there instead of the one the rme provided but when I slide widgets over on the dashboard. It will throw off all of the preexisting items , I tried to edit the sidebar.php and remove the items. But that didn’t seem to work out so well ,any suggestions ?

Also on my mainpage my page numbers won’t show up , what’s up with that ? ??

Thank you so much !! Brian

Can you clarify what you mean by “throw off all pre-existing items”? Do you mean their alignment? Or that they they all disappear?

They seem to disappear , the theme came with that orbitng tag cloud thing that never worked , I would like to make it slot more graphic based

    Cheers !

That’s how widget-ready sidebars generally work. The widgets replace the default content. Altering this behaviour would mean editing your sidebar template file. Or you simply add whatever widgets you need – including ones to replicate the default content.

Thanks again !! I wasn’t sure if it was just completely obliteratng the orignal code and would appear a mess on everyones screen besides mine .
