aspect ratio issues with wordtube

wordtube is working fine on my site but i have a problem when i’m trying to use different aspect ratios: some films i have are 320×240 (4:3) and other are 400×226 (from a 16:9 camera). i’ve figured out that i can’t use both in the same playlist and expect them to show up correctly, however i would like to be able to create a playlist with, say, only 16:9 videos in it. however, wordtube only allows me to specify window dimensions when i’m referring to a single media (via media id=n width=x height=y). when i refer to a playlist it uses the default window dimensions from the preferences. can someone who has managed to sort this out please explain the necessary steps?

btw, the format in all movies is raw flv.
