Ask Customer Email on Cart Page

  • Hello, i’m new in the wordpress community.

    I have a simple question about email on cart page link to email recovery. As we all know, the rate of abadonment on a e-commerce site is always pretty high, so getting customer’s mail in order to recover that loss cart is an absolute necessity.

    Here is my question: Why does not wordpress natively implement in the woocommerce extension the possibility to ask for the customer email in the cart page in order to be enable to recover the cart by mailing the customer ?

  • Sorry @yoyo06,
    WordPress does not come with a cart page. If you are using a plugin like WooCommerce for cart functionality you must go to the plugin’s support forum for help. Plugins are not supported in this forum nor are they part of WordPress.
