Ask Again When Restriction is Higher Age

  • Hi there, great plugin!

    I don’t know if it’s bug or meant to work like this, but I have a site which for most of the content needs to be restricted to 18+ and a few pages need to be 21+.

    It works fine, until someone who already verified as 18+ goes to a 21+ page. The plugin doesn’t ask if they are 21+ if they already verified they were 18+ before.

    For example, if you go to home page
    https://cbdgreenvalley.com/
    and say you are 18+, I still need it to make sure you are 21+ for this page
    https://cbdgreenvalley.com/product/chill-plus-gummies/

    Is there a way I can get it to ask if they are 21+ on those pages if they already verified as 18+? Or just make it ask every time for those 21+ page?

    Hi @bobdylansdead,

    Yes that’s what is meant to happen, and when I tested on you site it did rechallenge me when I went to the 21+ page.

    Could you check what the cookie called age_gate has as a value?
