Ask about WP Search With Algolia

    After I used WP Search with Algolia, the speed meter said that a jquery was called, whereas my theme didn’t use jquery.
    So will WP Search with Algolia have an update to remove jquery dependencies?

    Or can I use WP Search Algolia without using Jquery?

    From the looks of things, there is a jQuery-based plugin included, around the topic of Algolia Search, being used. However, the theme doesn’t NEED to be the one enqueuing jQuery core. WordPress is smart enough to load it for us alongside the plugin.

    However, there WILL be conflict with this if you’re very intently trying to not use these types of things. Though I’m not sure how easily it could be done to rewrite everything to not make use of jQuery.
