Yeap Media replacement prevents attachment-id3 metabox form saving.

What do you mean by ‘attachment-id3’ metabox?

the metabox that let give an audio file A artist name and album name is broken when media replacement is enabled.

I’ve just tested with an audio file in the media library and was able to save Artist and Album just fine when Media Replacement module is active.

Maybe you have another plugin that caused the issue? How was saving ‘prevented’ for those two fields? You entered something, hit Update, but upon reload the two fields remain empty?

Yes they are empty upon reload.

As usual, try deactivating all other plugins, and use one of the default themes (twenty twenty), and see if the issue persists. If not, it’s probably another plugin that is causing the issue.
