    Hi,
when activating the plugin, I get this error

Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to Asa_Service_PaApi5::setAccessKeyId() must be an instance of string, string given, called in […]/wp-content/plugins/amazonsimpleadmin/lib/Asa/Service/PaApi5.php on line 128 and defined in […]/wp-content/plugins/amazonsimpleadmin/lib/Asa/Service/PaApi5.php on line 428

    History:
    – had asa1 working well with AWS 4.0 API
    – I tried to switch to AWS 5.0 API but the plugin was generating an error (I did this step october 31st)
    – I could not fix the problem, so I deleted the plugin via FTP (the website was unaccessible via wordpress)
    – I waited for a couple of days and today tried to reinstall asa

I get the error in the plugins panel, over the top of the list of the available plugins. The website is running, but, of course, the asa plugin is not activated.

I’m going to delete it, waiting for a tip.

    Cheers

Sorry for my late reply. That’s a very strange error. “must be an instance of string, string given” doesn’t make very much sense. ??

I can’t reproduce this on my test systems. Would you mind providing me with login credentials so I can take a closer look and hopefully fix it? You can create a support ticket at https://www.wp-amazon-plugin.com/support/ to share credentials.

The issue could be solved with ASA1 version 1.4.4
