    Hello,

I have the following situation: In the scenario, in which I use the WCfM plugin, there will be existing accounts (regular user accounts) in WordPress, that a shop manager needs to turn into store vendors.
The shop manager does not have access to the changing of roles in the backend (which is good!). However, using the store manager frontend, he can only add new accounts as store vendor. Entering an existing mail address yields an error that the account already exists.
My question: Is there a way to get around this situation? Alternatively, do you have plans to add the feature, that the shop manager can make an existing account to a store vendor?

    Thank you very much!

    Kind regards
    Matthias

    HI,

Thanks for get in touch with us.

Well, existing users are allowed to become a vendor, but then they have to apply for that.

Now, WCFM dashboard has no screen to list all site users, so it’s not yet possible to change any user role to vendor!

    Thank You

    Hello,

I understand – and I have a suggestion: Instead of creating a list of all users, it might suffice to check, if the e-mail (it is unique) is already connected to an existing account, and if yes, use this account to make it a vendor – otherwise create a new account as you do right now.

    Best regards
    Matthias
