As administrator add images

I am moving over to BuddyPress from Ning and can’t seem to move the members images. There aren’ too many so I am happy to add them myself to each member but BPAlbum does not seem to allow the administrator to do this. I have tried creating a folder for one of the members using https://xxxxxx.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/album/userID/filename.xxx but this does not show up in the members album. Is there any way I can therefore do this?
