• Hi There

I really hope someone here can help me with this, as I have been going crazy looking for a solution.

My initial problem is I was not able to add title tags and descriptions to the products with the WP e-Commerce plugin. At the moment all products say Products Page | Name of My Blog. After doing everything advised, I was unable to find how to update the titles, descriptions and meta tags for the products.

    I tried this tutorial:

But I kept coming up with TString errors. I emailed the blog owner, who drew this conclusion:

“Your demo site uses an Artisteer generated theme and while it should be allowing titles on individual products, there is some sort of conflict on category pages whereby Artisteer themes don’t allow the category title to show properly. “

Here is the demo blog I set the e-Commerce plugin up to make videos for my clients. You can see the problem I am having with the title and description tags:

I have tried it with and without the AIOSEO pack, also several other SEO plugins to no avail. I have seen the plugin running on other blogs with the tags working perfectly. Why am I having these problems with Artisteer generated themes?

Do you think it is actually the Artisteer theme at all??

Any help would be fantastic as I am really desperate now. I have 3 different clients getting very ratty with me as I am putting them off adding products if I can’t find a solution. However I preach SEO (with good reason!), so I would be doing them a great injustice by going ahead and working with it as is.

I would really appreciate some advice.
