Articles Showing as unpublished when they are

    Hi,

    Many thanks for the plugin.

    When I first started using the plugin everything worked fine but it’s not been until recent I have noticed that the images are not crossing over to the Apple News feed.

    I have the remote setting set to yes if this helps.

    When I have checked on the plugin article tab it says that the article hasn’t published but in fact it has as it is showing on the Apple News feed.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Guessing this is a no then

    Are you using something to serve the images, like a CDN or something else on WordPress?
    I had an issue with my images looking terrible and that was because of my CDN.
    Hope that helps.

    For anyone else having issue with this, I did get an answer over on Github where it sounds like an issue with Guttenberg and an API.

    This is now being looked into.

    Is it possible to regenerate the thumbnails of the old articles would you know?

    If you update an already published article, it will re-send the article contents to Apple. So if the issue with the thumbnails is fixed, re-publishing the affected articles will cause the thumbnails to appear on Apple. If you go to Apple News > Articles you should be able to hover over a published article and click Publish and it should update itself on the Apple server.

    Thanks for your efforts but it appears the thumbnail images still won’t push through.

    I have cleared cache’s etc. but to no avail unfortunately.

    At this point, is the issue just with updating old articles or is it with new articles as well?
