Articles Post/Publish to Category but NOT Blog Main Page

  • Client’s site – lost his Staff Writer in May – No articles posted since then.

    Several updates to WP since then.

    Now when a new article is published it post to the category and can be seen in the recent post’s’ list but the new post is not seen on the main blog page: https://www.murrietainsuranceservices.com/insurance-blog/

    Article I’m referring to is here:

    I have disabled ALL plugins and tried updating the article but get the same issue again with the same results. Then deleted the article and permanently removed it from trash, then published it again – same result – posts in category but not on the main blog page.

    I think I have therefore eliminated the potential for the problem being caused by a plugin.

    I’ve checked and rechecked all settings but find nothing in settings or on the post edit page options that should be causing this issue.

    Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

  • Some plugins do not completely remove all effects when disabled – they must be deleted. Look for any plugin with ‘exclude’ or ‘category’ in the name and focus on them.
