Articles not posting

    Everything used to work fine. Ive updated to 1.1.4 and my PHP and MySQL are current, but when I write a new article it doesn’t post automatically even though the settings say it should post automatically. I am getting no errors when I publish an article or when I check the listing of articles.

    My last article won’t post and the previous article which I previously deleted I tried to manually post, but that still doesn’t work. I removed the apple_news_api_pending metadata and still nothing happens.

    I do have one entry that for some reason says FAILED PROCESSING UPDATE, but I haven’t been able to find out info on that.

    Are these posts being published immediately or scheduled posts? Are you using asynchronous publishing?

    The articles are set to publish immediately, but they don’t. When I’ve tried to publish them manually they don’t publish either.

    You’ll need to ask your hosting company for help on that one or consult their documentation.

    Found the logs. What should I be looking for? Here’s a copy of just from today…

    These two seem to be the repeated for the site:

    You’d be looking for errors related to the plugin. The ones you’ve posted aren’t relevant.

    Yeah, I’m not seeing anything plugin specific. Are there any know plugin incompatibilities?

    We don’t maintain a list of compatibilities with every plugin unfortunately. We can’t really help you debug that, but you could iteratively disable your other plugins to find if there were any incompatibilities by process of elimination.

    I’m just trying to figure out why the posts are still pending. I also accidentally deleted a post that I tried to manually post and it keeps coming back as deleted.

    On top of that after manually publishing the done button doesn’t do anything. Would you suggest a reinstall?

    Reinstalling a plugin wouldn’t change anything in WordPress. Do you have debug mode enabled? If not, please do so and check if you’re getting the emails that it produces.

    debug is enabled, but I haven’t been getting any emails.

    In that case, there must be some sort of PHP error occurring that’s blocking this from sending. You’ll have to get in touch with your hosting company to track that down. Unfortunately, there is little more I can help you with until I know what the specific error is.
