Articles in different order

  • Hi,

    I have a question. I have a new installed theme from ‘Woo themes’ with the name ‘canvas’. Only after installation on the page shows that the items are displayed in reverse order. My first article, that i wrote a couple of years ago, is displayed at the top and my last written (end 2011) at the bottom of page 46.

    Furthermore activation of one of the free themes gives no problems. They appear in the correct order and there’s nothing wrong.

    Could someone help me?

  • Is there anything in the theme options for home page sort?

    If not you will need to create a child theme, they have one that is downloadable, copy the home page which would be index.php, home.php of front-page.php to the child, and add a query to reverse the sort order.

    Just before the loop add:
    <?php query_posts($query_string . "&order=DESC"); ?>
