    Hello
Everything from the Apple News dashboard and plugin in the site are Ok.
There is not any warning and errors, but it is about 10 days the articles are not published in the channel, automatically and manually from the site by the plugin.
In the Articles section only we can see Reset options. After clicking on the Reset I see Publish option, by clicking on the Publish manually I can see Reset only and articles have not been published.
    Please help

If you go to Apple News > Articles from your WordPress menu, what appears in the Apple News Status column for the articles that aren’t published on the channel?

    Hi Kevin
Thanks for your attention and support.
The sync status there is pending for all articles.

The “pending” status gets added when you are using the “asynchronously publish to Apple News” setting in Apple News > Settings. There should be a cron job that is responsible for publishing the articles, which is either not firing, or is erroring out.

Typically, we advise against using the async option unless it’s necessary. It was originally added when Apple News didn’t support remote images to allow more time for images to be bundled and sent to Apple. However, these days, we recommend that you set “Asynchronously publish to Apple News” to “no” and “Use remote images” to “yes”.

Can you experiment with setting those settings and running a publish again?

If you need to use asynchronous publishing, then you will need to make sure that your WordPress installation is regularly running cron tasks, otherwise they can back up and cause problems.

    Hello
Thanks a lot, as you guided the issue is solved and thanks a lot.
But now we have another issue, could you please help us?
For all the articles there are two errors:
    1. The date and time on your server does not match the date and time on the Apple server. All API requests will fail until you synchronize your server clock.
    2. There has been an error with the API: DATE_NOT_RECENT

    Best regards
    Emad

    Hello @kevinfodness
May I ask you to help about the recent issue?
Actually we don’t know what shall we do about it. We have tried to change server’s time to be synced but still have the problem and we get these two errors.
    Best regards

    Hi @easkarieh

Apologies for the delay in responding. Both of those errors are related to your server time not being synchronized with a time server. Unfortunately, it is Apple’s policy that your server be synchronized, otherwise it rejects the API requests, and our plugin can’t do anything about the issue other than alert you to it. You will need to work with your webhost to synchronize your server’s time with an ntp server to ensure it is correct.
