Article that appear in a category for certain week

OK here is the idea. We want to have a reviews section whereby a reviewed article would only appear in a ‘OUT NOW’ section for 1 week after it’s release.

So what I have thought is… would it be possible to have an extra field when doing a post to have a ‘date’ which could then be read and if it’s within 7 days after that date it would appear in OUT NOW category.
