Article still in pending mode, HELP !!!

If the article is stuck in pending status, this likely means there was an error encountered during publishing and likely a problem with your web host. Please check your PHP error logs and see if there was in fact an error encountered during publishing. If you don’t know how to do that, please check with your web host.

We hope to add functionality to allow you to retry pending articles in the future, but for now you can also try and republish it by deleting all the meta values from that post beginning with apple_news_. This will clear the pending status and make it available to publish again.

This is happening to me, the PHP errors are fixed but it still happens.

How do i go about removing all the meta values from each post? is it as simple as unchecking the apple news box in the sidebar?

I downloaded another plugin Post Meta and Post Meta Manager, that helped me to re-publish all my article on apple news.

Still sits in “Pending” and nothing is being written to the error log?

Unfortunately if that’s all the information you’re able to offer, that’s not a lot for me to go on. Have you tried to delete the meta values and republish?

Yup, deleted all meta values and republished.

Double checked all the API details, my hosts have fixed the PHP errors that i was getting previously but it still just sits in “pending”.

There has to be an error occurring somewhere if that’s the case. That’s not normal behavior for the plugin.

What were the errors they “fixed”?

Closing for lack of response. The ability to clear pending status will release with version 1.2.2 later this month.
