Article preview

  • I’ve seen blogs that display a brief abstract (10 lines or so) of the article with a link at the bottom if the reader wants to go ahead and read the full article. Is that a feature in WP 1.5 or a customization of a template??

  • In the admin > Write > Write Post above the text area there is a quicktag button called <more>.
    Insert that into your post where you want to have the “more…” link.

    thank you for speeding with an answer!! I’m closer to understanding WP as a user, and now that I see people supporting it, I like it more.
