    Do I need to replace the regular WordPress archive widget with a second issueM article widget for past issues in order to use article ordering for display?

    There is no option for article ordering with the standard WordPress widget for archives. I can work around this by altering or making sure that the publication date/time will render the display that I want. But if your widget can do this for me that will make the task easier.

    It seems that ensuring the date/time of publishing an article will rule over article order. Don’t know why the article order doesn’t work, but the manual date/time change/update takes care of putting articles in the desired order.
