Article featured images – how to not show on the article page

Hi,

I have added featured images to each of my articles so that they show on the home page. However, the featured images also appear as the first image on my articles (before the article title).

Even though the featured images appear on the article, I do not seem to find them in the source code so I cannot hide them. Is there any way to make the featured images appear only on the home page and hide them on the article pages ?

I have taken screenshots to show you what I mean if needed. If so, please let me know how to send them to you.
