Arrows position in circle

I am using your ms-clarity-theme for my carousel slideshow. When I first set it up with arrows on the left and right, they were positioned correctly in the centre of the surrounding circles. But now they are not where they should be – they moved to the left, touching the border of the circle. Is there a way to centre it properly without trying to manipulate paddings and margins, which are not likely to work in every media screen? Many thanks.
