    Hi,

there seems to be an issue with arrows not appearing. I went through my plugins and disabled then, but it didn’t resolve the issue.

    Hi,

is it possible that the lack of navigation arrows is due to the fact that you are using a touch screen system (mobile and/or hybrid)?
If that is true then the behaviour you reported is not an issue but a choice from the developers.
Webyx predicts the arrows don’t exist on mobile but it uses touch only.
To confirm this hypothesis go to the browser DevTools console and check the “_webyx.mode” variable: if it says “mobile” arrows are not displayed.

At this actual release of Webyx for Gutenberg Free (1.4.2) this is the intended behaviour.

We will consider to put a way to enable to force desktop mode also on mobile.

    Let us know.
    Thank you for your message.

    Hi,

thank you for your response. I wasn’t able to locate the ‘mobile’, though using the mousewheel or arrow keys also don’t seem to work.

It would be useful I think if you could choose to show arrows on mobile also, as well as adding the ability to drag the slides using the mouse cursor.

When are you planning on making the pro version available?

    Hi again,

open your website where you use Webyx and to open the DevTools:

    1. Open Google Chrome browser (in this example)
    2. Click the Customize and control Google Chrome settings icon in the upper-right corner of the browser window.
    3. From the drop-down menu that appears, move your mouse cursor over More tools, and select Developer tools from the expanded menu.
    4. You should now see a new section at the bottom of the screen containing the developer tools.

In Chrome, pressing F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I (or Command+option+I on a Mac) also brings up the interactive developer tools.

Once there go to the “Console” TAB.
You should be able to digit _webyx.mode and check if there is “mobile” or “desktop” in the variable we told you before.

    About your suggestions:

    1. in the Pro version will be immediately available to have the desktop mode on mobile devices (you can see and use arrows and bullets then).
    2. the drag feature will surely be implemented in the future

We are running to finish all new features to add to the Pro version and to test them all.
It will be matter of weeks for the release.

    Thank you for you support!

Thank you for another quick response. Can’t seem to get it to work, my test is at https://pettersolberg.art/test01/

Looking forward to hear more about the Pro version!

Thanks for sharing the link, that was very useful.
We can confirm what we said previously: if you open the website with a browser in desktop mode (PC or mac, etc) you will see arrows and you can use them normally.
    See the following picture:
    Desktop Mode
If you open the website with a browser in mobile mode (smartphone, hybrid display, touchscreen monitor, etc) arrows will not be displayed.
    See the following picture:
    Mobile Mode

The behaviour is not an issue or a bug but a choice from the developers.

    Hope we have been clearer.

    Best regards.
