Arrows in LIvemesh post carousel

Hi, not sure this is the right forum to address the issue, anyway.
I’ve just set up a Livemesh posts carousel in the Homepage, in one of the Siteorigin themes, the North one, and the problem is that the arrows for prev/next posts in the carousel are not actually arrows, but some very thin square boxes, which, by the way, really work, I mean, by clicking on them I am able to scroll left/right the carousel, is just they don’t look as arrows.
I am just in the testing phase for my website, on my localhost, so can’t display the work.
Any advise really appreciated, thanks!
